Dr. Wang has been a pioneer in the field of microbial detection and identification, Genomics, Functional Genomics, Biologic Heredity and Evolution. He had been trained and worked at the University of Sydney for 14 years. In 2001, Dr. Wang moved back to China. He has acquired extensive experience in the field of genomics, proteomics, chip technology and bioinformatics. He published more than 90 peer-reviewed papers and holds 3 U.S patents. Dr. Wang holds an appointment as a full Professor at Nankai University, where he serves as Dean of TEDA School of Biological Sciences and Biotechnology.

Dr. Feng is interested in genomics and functional genomics. She is the recipients of 2009 Cheung Kong Scholars Program and 2008 Chinese National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars. Dr. Feng directs the proteomics platform. She also serves as a full Professor, with appointments at TEDA School of Biological Sciences and Biotechnology, Nankai University.

Dr. Cao is active as both a technical director and a professor. She has extensive experience in bioinformatics and biochip development. Dr. Cao is not only well granted but also holds multiple Chinese patents.

Dr. Liu serves as director at Tianjin Biochip Corporation. Currently, Dr. Liu is
investigating the genetic basis for bacterial surface polysaccharide antigen diversity. He is also interested in the functional identification of monosaccharide synthesis genes and glycosyltransferase genes. Dr. Liu is also appointed as a lecturer at TEDA School of Biological Science and Biotechnology, Nankai University.

Utilizing microbiology, molecular biology and bioinformatics techniques, Dr. Wang investigates the genetic base and the mechanism of the variety of bacterial surface antigens. She is also interested in the characterization of biosynthesis enzymes for rare sugars. Dr. Wang also focuses on the detection and identification of pathogens using molecular methods.
